1. Who we are and what these terms cover
Tripoora operates an online marketplace where travellers discover and book tickets, tours, activities and experiences offered by independent, verified suppliers across Europe. These Terms of Service form a binding agreement between you and Tripoora and apply every time you browse the site, create an account, plan a trip or complete a booking.
Tripoora acts as an intermediary and booking agent. The experience itself is provided by the supplier named on your booking confirmation. The supplier is responsible for delivering the experience, for its safety, staffing, licences and insurance, and for the accuracy of the information it publishes about it.
If you do not accept these terms, please do not use the platform.
2. Accounts, verification and eligibility
You can complete a booking as a guest, but you must give us a contact channel we can verify — an email address or a mobile number — so we can deliver your tickets and any last-minute operational updates.
- You must be at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian, to make a booking.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of the traveller and participant details you submit, including names, dates of birth and any document numbers a supplier legitimately requires for entry.
- You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials, one-time codes and voucher QR codes confidential. Tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.
- We may suspend or close accounts used for fraud, chargeback abuse, resale of tickets in breach of supplier terms, scraping, or abuse of our staff or suppliers.
3. Listings, availability and pricing
Every listing is published by a supplier and reviewed by Tripoora before it becomes bookable. Availability, time slots and capacity come from the supplier's own inventory and can change until your booking is confirmed.
- All prices are shown in euro (EUR) and include applicable taxes and fees unless a listing clearly states otherwise. Local charges paid on site (for example city taxes, deposits or optional extras) are your responsibility.
- Adding an experience to your cart places a temporary inventory hold. The hold expires automatically if you do not complete payment, and the seats return to general availability.
- Obvious pricing or content errors do not bind us. If an error is detected before delivery, we will contact you to confirm the corrected booking or cancel it with a full refund.
- Photos, durations, itineraries and inclusions are indicative. Suppliers may make minor operational changes that do not materially affect the experience.
4. Booking and payment
Your booking is only confirmed once payment is successfully captured and you receive a confirmation with a booking reference and voucher. Payments are processed by our payment provider; Tripoora never stores your full card number.
We may verify your email address or mobile number with a one-time code before payment. Providing a reachable contact channel is a condition of booking, because suppliers use it for meeting-point changes, weather cancellations and other time-critical updates.
- Tripoora collects the total price on the supplier's behalf and remits the supplier's share according to the commercial agreement between Tripoora and that supplier.
- Your voucher must be presented (digitally or printed) at the meeting point together with any identification the listing requires.
- Tickets and vouchers may not be resold or commercially transferred without the supplier's written consent.
5. Cancellations, changes and refunds
Each booking is governed by the cancellation policy the supplier selected for that experience. The exact policy, deadline and refund percentage are shown before you pay and are captured on your booking so they cannot be changed retroactively. Full details are set out in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
If a supplier cancels an experience — for weather, safety, minimum-numbers or operational reasons — you are entitled to a full refund of the amount you paid, or a rebooking to another date if you prefer.
No-shows and late arrivals outside the supplier's stated tolerance are treated as used bookings and are not refundable.
Change of operator. If Tripoora moves your experience to a different verified operator before your travel date, we email you as soon as the change is made. That email gives you two choices: keep the booking with the new operator, or cancel it and receive a full refund of everything you paid, whatever the original cancellation policy says. You have 7 days from the date of that email to answer; if you do not answer, we treat it as you keeping the booking and it continues on the same terms.
Your booking is protected against the change. The experience description, the itinerary and the cancellation policy that applied when you booked are recorded on your booking and continue to apply to it. A new operator may update the public listing for future travellers, but any such change does not affect the terms of a booking made before the change.
6. Your conduct on the experience
- Follow the supplier's safety instructions, age limits, health requirements, dress codes and accessibility guidance published on the listing.
- Disclose medical conditions, pregnancy, mobility needs or dietary requirements where the listing asks for them, so the supplier can operate safely.
- Suppliers may refuse participation, without refund, where a participant is intoxicated, behaves unsafely, or does not meet clearly published requirements.
7. Supplier obligations
Suppliers using the Tripoora dashboard additionally agree to keep listings, availability and pricing accurate, to hold all licences, permits and insurance required in their jurisdiction, to honour the cancellation policy attached to each product, and to respond to traveller messages and cancellation requests within the response times published in the supplier knowledge base.
Tripoora may unpublish listings, withhold settlement of disputed amounts, apply the cancellation fee set out in the supplier agreement, or end a supplier's access where these obligations are not met.
Reassignment of a listing. In exceptional cases, and only after we have given the supplier written notice of sustained poor performance — in particular a cancellation rate above the thresholds published in the supplier knowledge base — together with a reasonable opportunity to remedy it, Tripoora may reassign the affected listing to another verified supplier so that travellers can continue to book the experience. Reassignment is used rarely and as a last resort; it does not transfer the supplier's own brand, trademarks or proprietary materials, and any listing content created by the supplier is only reused to the extent the supplier agreement permits.
Where a listing is reassigned, bookings already taken remain the responsibility of the original supplier, who continues to receive settlement for them in accordance with the supplier agreement, and the original supplier's cancellation history stays attached to that supplier and is not attributed to the receiving supplier. The receiving supplier is shown the listing's trading history before deciding whether to take it on and may decline. Travellers with an existing booking are informed if the operator of their experience changes and may cancel free of charge if the change is material.
Existing bookings after a reassignment. As soon as a reassignment takes effect, Tripoora notifies every traveller with a future booking and offers them the choice of continuing with the receiving supplier or cancelling for a full refund of everything they paid; a traveller who does not answer within 7 days is treated as continuing. Those bookings keep the description, itinerary, inclusions and cancellation policy under which they were sold, and the receiving supplier must honour them as sold; later changes to the listing apply only to bookings made after the change. Where a traveller cancels because of the operator change, the full refund is issued by Tripoora and no cancellation fee or performance penalty is applied to the receiving supplier, while any recovery from the outgoing supplier follows the supplier agreement.
8. Reviews and user content
Reviews may only be submitted by travellers with a completed booking, within the window shown in your account. You keep ownership of what you write and grant Tripoora a worldwide, royalty-free licence to display, reproduce and distribute it in connection with the marketplace.
We remove content that is unlawful, defamatory, discriminatory, off-topic, contains personal data of third parties, or is submitted in exchange for an incentive. Suppliers may publish a public response but cannot delete a genuine review.
9. AI trip planning
Our AI trip planning tools generate suggested itineraries, timings and destination information. They are informational aids, produced automatically, and may be incomplete or out of date. Always confirm opening hours, transfer times, visa and entry requirements with official sources before you travel. Only confirmed bookings create contractual rights.
10. Liability
Tripoora is liable for the operation of the marketplace, correct processing of your booking and payment, and for the accuracy of the information we control. The supplier is liable for the performance of the experience itself, including injury, loss or damage arising during it.
To the extent permitted by law, Tripoora's aggregate liability in relation to a booking is limited to the total amount you paid for that booking. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any liability that cannot be excluded under mandatory consumer law.
Neither party is liable for failures caused by events beyond reasonable control, including extreme weather, natural events, strikes, civil unrest, epidemics or government restrictions.
11. Complaints, governing law and disputes
Contact us first at support@tripoora.com or through the message thread on your booking — most issues are resolved within a few working days. Complaints about an experience should be raised as soon as possible, and in any case within 30 days of the travel date.
These terms are governed by the laws of the country in which Tripoora is established, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence. EU consumers may also use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms to reflect changes in our services or the law. The version in force at the time you book governs that booking. Material changes are announced on this page and, where they affect existing bookings, by email.
