Cancel a booking or request a refund
How cancellation windows work, how to request a cancellation and when the money returns.
5 min read
Each option carries its own cancellation policy set by the supplier and shown before you pay — typically free cancellation up to 24 or 48 hours before the start time.
Step by step
- 1
Check the policy
Open the booking; the cancellation deadline and refund percentage are shown on the item, with a countdown when the deadline is near.

Request the cancellation
Choose Request cancellation, pick a reason and confirm. Inside a free-cancellation window the refund quote is calculated instantly.
- 3
Wait for the outcome
Fully refundable requests are approved automatically. Outside the window a Tripoora agent reviews the case with the supplier, usually within 48 hours.
- 4
Track the refund
The booking timeline shows requested → approved → processed. Card refunds normally take 5–10 working days to appear on your statement.
- 5
Keep the receipt
A refund receipt PDF is attached to the booking and emailed to you once the refund is processed.
Good to know
- Need a different date rather than a refund? Message the supplier from the booking — many can move you free of charge.
- Weather-dependent activities are usually cancelled by the supplier with a full refund; watch the booking chat for updates.
Frequently asked
What if I do not show up?
No-shows are not refundable unless the option's policy says otherwise.
Do you refund the whole payment?
Refunds follow the policy shown at booking: a full refund inside the free window, a partial or no refund outside it.
Can I cancel one item only?
Yes. Cancellation is per booking item, so the rest of your trip stays intact.
