What badges mean on listings

How to read the trust, quality and urgency labels on Tripoora experience cards.

3 min read

Badges are small visual labels on search cards and product pages. They help you spot great experiences quickly, but they are always backed by real data or a manual review by the Tripoora team.

Step by step

  1. 1

    Bestseller

High recent sales velocity. This experience is selling well compared to similar options in the same destination.

  2. 2

    Top rated

An average rating above a high threshold with a minimum number of verified reviews. Only travellers who actually completed the booking can review.

  3. 3

    Likely to sell out

Demand is high and remaining capacity is low. This is a live signal, not a marketing trick.

  4. 4

    New

The listing was published recently. It may not have many reviews yet, but it has passed Tripoora product review.

  5. 5

    Great value

The from-price is currently below a platform threshold for this category. Prices are live and may change.

  6. 6

    Offer

The supplier has an active special offer or discount with a published validity window.

Good to know

  • Badges update automatically, so a badge you saw yesterday may not be there today.
  • A badge does not replace reading the cancellation policy, inclusions and meeting point before you book.

Frequently asked

Are badges paid placements?

No. Automatic badges are based on sales, reviews, price and availability. Manual badges are chosen by Tripoora staff, not by suppliers paying extra.

Can a badge be fake?

No. Rating and review badges only use verified reviews from completed bookings. Sales and capacity badges are calculated from real inventory data.
